On March 28, in the hall of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan took place an event dedicated to the 85th birthday of poet, novelist, children's author Liparit Sargsyan.
Hasmik Karapetyan, the director of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan made an opening speech. Parts from the film "Loretsi Boy or A Monologue with the Land, Man and the World" were shown, which is a biographical documentary film about Liparit Sargsyan and was filmed by the Public Relations and Events Department of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan. The speeches were made by Petros Demirchyan, secretary of the Armenian Union of Youth and Sports, novelist Hovik Vardumyan, and Narek Arakelyan, a member of the "Boghbojner" studio, which was headed by Liparit Sargsyan for many years.
Writer, singer, songwriter Arsen Hambaryan gave artistic performances.
Songs written by the poet's words were performed by the "Zatik" vocal ensemble/ chief composer Lilit Hambardzumyan/. The 3rd grade students of school No. 71 named after Nelson Stepanyan read from the children's works of the poet. At the end of the event, the poet's son, Tigran Sargsyan, made his speech of thanks.
