“Tumanyan Readings”

    February 19 marked the 150th anniversary of Great Armenian Writer Hovhannes Tumanyan. The City Central Library, together with the Ministry of Culture and technical support of American Center organized a “Tumanyan Readings”. Among the participants were National Assembly Member, the Head of My Step Alliance faction Lilit Makunts, Vice Speaker of National Assembly Lena Nazaryan, NA member Arman Eghoyan, Deputy Minister of Culture Vahe Budumyan, Senior Specialist of Cultural Heritage and National Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture Nazik Hovasapyan, US Embassy Public Affairs Official Rob Anderson, US Embassy IRC Director Nerses Hayrapetyan, Cultural Adviser to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia Seyyed Mohammad Reza Heydari, academic Henrik Hovhannisyan, public figure Toros Toranyan, Philology PhD Diana Hambardzumyan, representatives of many Armenian libraries and simply fans of Tumanyan.
