    On March 27, 2017 the City Central Library after Av.Isahakyan hosted an event devoted to the 80th birthday anniversary of Yurie Sahakyan. A number of short performances and musical numbers were performed during the event. The students of nursery school Zatik payed their honors to the writer by singing the songs “Hatstukh”(Baker) and “Gndak” (Ball). Lyrics of the song were written by Yurie Sahakyan, music by Lilit Hambardzumyan. Some works of the writer were presented by the students of the schools 51, 82, 125, 21 and others. The students of the school Usmunq staged Yurie Sahakyan’s “The Voyage of the Ship”. The grandchildren of the writer presented some of his works as well.
The host of the event was actress, reciter Gayane’ Samvelyan.
