Western Armenian writer Hovsep Toqat's book presentation titled "The ruin of Kiğı"

    On October 28, in the Citry Central Library after Av.Isahakyan it took place a meeting with western Armenian writer Hovsep Toqat and sale-presentation of his book titled :
" The ruin of Kiğı ". Among the guests there were cultural and public figures and readers. Public and political figure Sargis Hatspanyan welcomed the audience and mentioned that in the book it was presented Kiğı's geography, history, traditions and rituals. The book have been translated into three languages Turkish, English and Armenian.Hovsep Toqat presented the book and said that there could not be a nation without culture. Hakob Harutyun greeted the audience too and mentioned that the book has national significance. After it the participants enjoyed the sounds of manjut and jut. The metropolite of the Diocese of Gougark of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Sebouh Chouldjian blessed the audience and mentioned that the strength of Armenians were among the unity. At the end of the meeting all incomes of the book will be transfered to the teachers working at the border areas.
