Memorable event dedicated to the 75th birthday anniversary of Henrik Babakhanyan

    On October 25 , in the hall of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan it took place a memorable event dedicated to the 75th birthday anniversary of Henrik Babakhanyan, which is organized jointly with Writers' Union of Armenia and Armenian Fund of Culture. Among the guests there were Babakhanyan's friends, relatives, culture and public figures and readers.
Poet, painter, president of "Armenian Culture Fund" Arevshat Avagyan greeted the audience and said:
" There is gravity in Henrik's speech. And I have never seen him angry.
He is sober, careful, suspicious person and at the same time very honest and truthful". President of ASU Edavard Militonyan; the son of a poet Mher Babakhanyan;poet, translator, candidate of philological sciences, literature Nerses Atabekyan;teacher Gohar Petrosyan and others spoke about the poet and his creative activities.Singer,songwriter Arsen Hamparyan;poet, folklorist Alexander Eqnosyan and Armine Yeghiazaryan accompanied with Anna Manukyan came out with different musical performances.At the end of the meeting the actress Gayane Samvelyan and the poet's granddaughter Nane Babakhanyan read the author's works.
