Henry Cuny's book's presentation titled "Armenia, the spirit of the people"

    A person doesn't born as Armenian. He/She feels himself as an Armenian slowly. First off al for me Armenian identity is a millennial process of common sense. And if the Armenians still find their spirit in the Movses Khorenatsi's writings ,it means they simultaneously have been its harbinger.

The approach to the pages of our history is very warm. We must appreciate his aspiration to recognize our past, present and constant values. We needed friends like him.

After finishing the diplomatic mission in Armenia in 2006, the French Ambassador to Armenia Henry Cuny,wrote a book about Armenia titled "Armenia, the spirit of the people. " That day the hall of the library was full of readers and guests. Mr. and Mrs. Topchyans; Varuzhan Sirapyan the director of the Paris Institute after Chopanyan ; pupils from the primary school number 56 with their teacher Ashkhen Nazinyan were among the guests.The director of the City Central Library after Av Isahakyan and Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Karapetyan greeted the audience and mentioned the characterization of French diplomat according to armenian nation. Hasmik Karapetyan presented the activities and programs of the department of the center of Francophonie.During his speech Henry Cuny spoke about values and the spirit of Armenia. He mentioned that the area of Armenia was small, but it had a great culture.
The actress Gayane Samvelyan read author's work titled " Armenian woman". This book have been translated by Aram Barlezizyan. At the end of the event the author and Mr. Sirapyan left their signatures in the colonnade of library freinds'.
