    The Day of German Unity is the national day of Germany, celebrated on 3 October. And it is not contingency that the book's presentation titled: "Between Araks and Rhine: 900-year-long German-Armenian Relationship" by Enno Meyer and Ara Berkian,took place on that day in the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan.The book have been translated by Lisa Berkian-Abrahamyan. She is the widow of Ara Berkian. The book is significant with mentioned separate events, which is unknown to the reader. The library hall was full of audience. The director of the library greeted to the Minister of Culture of Armenia Armen Amiryan; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia Matthias Kiesler;. the head of the department of culture and tourism Ruben Hovhannisyan; Deputy Minister of Culture Nerses Ter-Vardanyan and to all the participants. Representing the book, Lisa Berkian thanked to all those, who helped her during the creation of the book. The book has educational significance which is interesting both for professionals and readers. The work consists of two parts.The first part starts with the relations between Armenians and Germans reaching up to 1992. The last chapters concern the tragic events of our nation: the role of Germany during our genocide. The second part begins with the description of Armenians' disappointment after World War I.The book's editor, candidate of philological sciences Mkr David Sargsyan said:
"The book can serve as a primary source for numerous studies"
During his speech, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ashot Hayruni said:
"Not being a historian Ara Berkyane create a work of great historical value which is a great base for us."
Minister of Culture of Armenia Armen Amiryan;poet Gor Harutyunyan,historian Khachik Ghazaryan; Candidate of Historical Sciences Irina Barseghyan-Krpeyan;journalist and publicist,Constitutional Court spokesman Hovhannes Papikyan; journalist,Lisa Berkian's sister Shushanik Abrahamyan;Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia Matthias Kiesler shared their impressions about the book and congratulated Lisa Berkian.
