Aram Haykaz: Forgotten Pages

    On November 13, 2015 the readers of the YCCL were at the library hall to celebrate the "birth" of the 6th volume of "Aram Haykaz:Forgotten Pages" (1937-1975) by Armenian-American writer Aram Haigaz. The book is compiled and annotated by PhD of Philological Sciences Margarit Khachatryan. While speaking about the book Margarit Khachatryan mentioned that it contains archive materials, articles and stories. “This volume is publish in memory of Arpine’ Hairapetian- historian Gevorg Yazchian’s mother”, she said.
Some extracts from the book were read by doctor, specialist of West-Armenian and Armenian Diaspora literature Kamo Ter-Petrosian. Speeches were made and memories were shared by the editor of the 6th volume, historian Gevorg Yazchian, writer, public speaker Hrachia Matevosian, Armenian Diaspora writer, public speaker, social worker Toros Toranian, Armenian Diaspora teacher Hakob Chobanian and others.
Musical numbers were presented by singer Arsen Hambarian and Lernarot village school student Anna Sahakian. At the end of the presentation Margarit Khachatryan presented the guests with books.
