The Presentation of the Book “My World” by Gourgen Ter-Avagyan

    On April 8, 2015 the presentation of the book “My World” by Gourgen Ter-Avagyan took place in the YCCL. The book contains translations from different languages, as well as translations from some Russian romances and the works of the author. The event was hosted by actress, recitor Gayane' Samvelyan, who read some poems from the book. Speeches were made by poet, translator, painter Arevshat Avagyan, associate member of National Academy of Science of Armenia, Doctor Professor of Historical Sciences Ashot Melkonian, Head of Nor Norq Center of Charity Organization “Mission Armenia” Ashot Sargsyan, the editor of the book Gohar Navasardyan and others. Some of the translated and original Russian romances presented in the book were performed by students of National Conservatory of Music of Armenia after Komitas Arevik Uzunyan and Siranoush Khachatryan. The final speech was made by Gourgen Ter- Avagyan who thanked the library and the guests for warm welcome.
