On November 21, the City Central Isahakyan library hosted the presentation of the book “The Prophet's Message” by writer Samvel Margaryan, from Gyumri. The book has been translated into 10 languages. The director of the library, Honorary worker of Culture Hasmik Karapetyan, who was also the host, opened the event. She stated that this meeting will contribute to the strengthening of cultural ties and efficient collaborations between Yerevan and Shirak. She pointed out the literary, peacemaking mission Samvel Margaryan has undertaken for the sake of his nation, humanity and the whole world. Other speechmakers were the director of Literature Institute of the National Academy of Sciences Vardan Devrikyan, writer, director of “Tsitsernak” edition Anush Vardanyan, writer, translator, the president of “Armenian Cultural Fund” Arevshat Avagyan, writer Sergey Avagyan, PhD of Literary sciences, lecturer at Shirak State University Gagik Khachikyan. Writer, translator, director of AWU edition Shant Mkrtchian, writer, storyteller Hrach Harichetsy, writer Lilit, Georgian translator Nino Spandarashvili, People's artist of RA Valmar, businessman, benefactor, president of “Soghomon Tehleryan” NGO Razmik Darbinyan, writer Harutyun Avetisyan, PhD of History, publisher Armen Karapetyan. The writer’s grandchildren had a surprise for him. They recited some of his poems for him. Some extracts from his works were presented by Gayane Samvelyan and Aida Asaturyan. Hasmik Karapetyan thanked Samvel Margaryan, Anush Vardanyan and Gagik Khachikyan for donateing books to the library. At the end Samvel Margaryan thanked all his supporters and read some of his new works.
