Presentation of the book “A Slave to Dreams”

    On May 7 the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan hosted a literary matinee in honor of Serbian poet Desanka Maksimović and the presentation of her book “A Slave to Dreams” translated into Armenian. Actress Gayane Samvelyan opened the event. It was hosted by Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia to Armenia, writer, translator, specialist of Serbian studies and cultural figure Babken Simonyan. The translator of the book Gevorg Khachature made a speech. Actresses Gayane Samvelyan and Aida Asaturyan read some of the poems in “A Slave to Dreams”.
