    Great Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan's birthday was solemnly celebrated at the City Central library after Av. Isahakyan, which is traditionally celebrated in the Republic of Armenia as "Book Giving Day".The lobby of the library was full of multi-genre books.The library gave these books to the readers and visitors.The day was also marked by an event held in the library hall entitled "Library Friend Day".The director of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Karapetyan handed over letters of thanks to the friends of the library for the great contribution to replenishment of the library fund.Employees of the Russian Science and Culture Center in Yerevan donated modern literature to the library.The event was also attended by publishers. They donated some of their published books to the library.Honored actor Armen Barseghyan graced the guests with his presence in the image of the great Tumanyan.
