Great Armenian composer, conductor Alexander Spendiaryan expanded Armenian national music with this irrevocable philosophical, moral, artistic creed and became one of the great founders of Armenian symphonic music. His musical reputation also took a firm place in European and Russian cultural circles.
Let us remember again that UNESCO famous people events 2020 2020-2021 includes the 150th anniversary of Alexander Spendiaryan. The City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan continues to hold various program events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great composer.
At this time a viewing and lecture of "Almast" opera was organized in Isahakyan Library.
The event was opened by Nadya Antonyan, a librarian, referring to the glorious cultural Spendiaryan event, its exceptional patriotic devotion.
The lecture was conducted by Candidate of Arts, musicologist Tamar Hovhannisyan.
Mrs. Hovhannisyan presented the exceptional value of Alexander Spendiaryan's legacy to the guests, library staff and readers with professional responsibility, depth. The audience gladly watched the video of "Almast" opera.
