"My soul will be at peace in the distance of heaven if my footprints on earth are not covered with moss" - Ninel Gharajyan , Armenia's first female pilot, parachute jumper. The presentation of the book "Pilot’s Memories" by the first female pilot-parachute jumper of Armenia Ninel Gharajyan took place in the hospitable hall of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan. The day of the presentation was not chosen by chance, it was connected with the first parachute flight of a female pilot, which she made on April 27 in 1935. The event was opened and hosted by actress Gayane Samvelyan. The book "Pilot’s Memories" could be said to be his diary, which she wrote at the age of 64, but did not manage to publish. During the event, Ninel Gharajyan's memories included in the book were read.Journalist, publicist, book editor Hovhannes Papikyan; the Head of Military Aviation University after Armenak Khanperyants of the RA Ministry of Defense Arthur Barseghyan; TV journalist,E editor in chief, the president of “Lorva dzor” patriotic union Sergo Yeritsyan, journalist Shushanik Sahakyan and others made speeches. At the end of the event, Ninel Gharajyan's son, Valeri Poghosyan, expressed deep gratitude to the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan and the director of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Karapetyan.
