The Closing ceremony of "The Best Reader of the Year" 2020 Competition


    In the framework of the “Children's book and music Week” the Closing ceremony of "The Best Reader of the Year" 2020 Competition was held in the City Central Isahakayan library. The event was opened by the speech of deputy director Ruzanna Barseghyan. She emphasized the undeniable role of the books and education in the formation of the moral valuesamong the young generation. The winners of the competition get their certificates and prizes from the deputy director Ruzanna Barseghyan, children’s writers Alice Hovhannisyan, Satenik Mkrtchyan, Meri Sahakyan, Satenik Ghazaryan and Gohar Galstyan. In their speeches, they valued the unique role of books and reading in the process of creating a citizen and an individual in general. The event was hosted by actress Gayane Samvelyan. The library patrons thanked the beloved library with recitations and musical performances. The event was summed up by the deputy director Ruzanna Barseghyan.
